From business cards to coupons, banners to table tents, flyers to direct mail, one-pagers to many-many-pagers – physically printed materials have been the biggest part of my career. Below are select examples of work I’ve done across various print mediums, plus gift boxes that anyone would love to see delivered.

Washington DC Economic Partnership Publications
ICSC 2024 Lookbook
This piece was created in support of the ICSC Las Vegas 2024 Trade Show, highlighting specific neighborhoods of interest in Washington, DC, accompanied by statistics and information that is useful to retailers and decision makers.
Neighborhood Profiles Publication
The Neighborhood Profiles is a publication created every year that offers a concise overview, detailed demographic information, resources, maps, and latest updates for 56 neighborhoods throughout DC. While this publication has been going on for over 20 years, after joining the Partnership I refreshed the cover and layout with WDCEP’s new fonts and color scheme, as well as cleaned up the individual neighborhood pages to accommodate a wide variety of information.
I also worked with a local photographer to capture specific neighborhoods, showing the life and vibrancy of the city, as well as took some of the photos myself.
Note: Before downloading, please know the PDF is almost 200MB.
Washington, DC Development Report
The DC Development Report is a summary of the major development and construction projects in the District of Columbia. WDCEP tracks major developments throughout the year and performs an annual “development census” in the month of December. This involves soliciting contributions from more than 80 developers, architects, contractors, and economic development organizations to provide updates to more than 200 projects. While this publication has also been going on for over 20 years, after joining the Partnership I refreshed the cover and layout throughout with WDCEP’s new fonts and color scheme, as well as cleaned up the individual real estate sector project showcase to accommodate a wide variety of information relevant to those in the industry.
While photos and renders are typically provided by the developer or another related party, I took a number of the photos of projects that were under construction or completed myself.
Annual Reports
At the end of every year, WDCEP publishes an Annual Report that promotes our accomplishments over the past fiscal year. These are typically laid out like a book but they are not printed, just distributed digitally. In 2022 and 2023, we created and sent PDFs to interested parties. In 2024, I created a responsive website in Framer that was released to great reviews from our Board members.

Industry Cluster Overviews and One-Pagers
WDCEP produces overviews for specific industry clusters that the Partnership is focused on performing outreach to. Some of those are one-pagers that touch on Washington, DC’s strengths, while others are multi-page and dive into detail to make sure interested parties have what they need to make informed decisions on why Washington, DC is the best place to start or expand their business. As they all have a similar look and feel to remain cohesive, links to a few have bene provided below.

Site Selector Outreach Gift Boxes
Themed after Washington, DC’s famous cherry blossoms as this was being sent in April, peak bloom season, these boxes were curated for site selectors in the industry to help reintroduce them to the market and let them know what Washington, DC has to offer their clients who are looking to expand or relocate their business.
Space was left on the top of the box to accommodate the 4×6″ USPS shipping label without obscuring any of the content.
Each box included gifts, as well as a message from the team members on the inside lid, a map of Washington, DC and real estate opportunities, and some recipients had custom QR codes to a special video from a team member to thank them for opening the box.
Gift Boxes
Heavy on the culture and full of relevant statistics for those receiving, these gift boxes are designed as a love letter to Washington, DC. They feature icongraphy that’s uniquely DC – covering monuments, Cherry Blossoms, the DC flag’s three stars and two bars, it’s city motto, years relevant to DC’s history, musical acts from DC, and much more, it’ll have you looking all over the box to see what you may have missed.
Inside is a message and explanation of each unique symbol, as well as curated gifts from DC-based businesses, along with coasters etched with the DC flag design, and laser-etched tumblers with a unique icon that I designed of the outlined shape of DC with the flag design inside.
